Why suction pressure of the cold storage is high?

Reasons for excessive suction pressure of compressor cold storage equipment

1. The exhaust valve or safety cover is not sealed, there is leakage, causing the suction pressure to rise.photobank (33)
2. Improper adjustment of the system expansion valve (throttling) or the temperature sensor is not close, the suction pipe or throttle valve is opened too much, the float valve fails, or the ammonia pump system circulation volume is too large, resulting in excessive liquid supply and too high suction pressure of the compressor.

3. The air delivery efficiency of the compressor is reduced, the air delivery volume decreases, the clearance volume is large, and the sealing ring is worn too much, which increases the suction pressure.

4. If the heat load of the warehouse suddenly increases, the refrigeration capacity of the compressor is insufficient, causing the suction pressure to be too high. .

The usual reasons for the excessive suction pressure of the refrigeration system: the opening degree of the expansion valve is increased, the system refrigerant is overcharged, the heat load of the evaporator is increased, etc.;

The corresponding discharge method: when the suction pressure is higher, the corresponding evaporation pressure (temperature) is higher, and a pressure gauge can be connected to the stop valve of the return air section for testing.

1. Hazards and causes of excessive exhaust pressure in refrigeration system

1. Hazards of excessive exhaust pressure:

Excessive exhaust pressure can cause overheating of refrigeration compressor, severe wear, deterioration of lubricating oil, decrease in refrigeration capacity, etc., and the energy consumption of the system will increase accordingly;

2. Causes of excessive exhaust pressure:

a. Incomplete vacuuming, residual air and other non-condensable gases in the refrigeration system;

b. The external temperature of the working environment of the refrigeration system is too high, especially in summer or in poor ventilation. This problem is more common;
c. For water-cooled units, insufficient cooling water or too high a water temperature will also cause the exhaust pressure of the system to increase;

d. Too much dust and other debris attached to the air-cooled condenser or too much scale on the water-cooled condenser will cause poor heat dissipation of the system;

e. The motor or fan blades of the air-cooled condenser are damaged;
