1. Internal thermostat (installed inside the compressor)
In order to prevent the air-cooled chiller from running continuously for 24 hours, causing the compressor to run at high load, the electromagnetic switch is bad, the shaft is stuck, etc., or the motor is burned due to the motor temperature. The compressor is equipped with an internal thermostat. It is installed on the neutral contact of the three-phase motor. When an abnormality occurs, the motor is protected by cutting off the three phases at the same time.
2. Electromagnetic switch
The electromagnetic switch is an opener and closeer for the purpose of controlling the operation and stopping of the refrigeration compressor of the air-cooled chiller. It should be kept vertical during installation. If it is installed incorrectly, the node spring pressure will change, noise will be generated, and phase loss will occur. For models of compressors equipped with direct power-off protectors, there is no need to load protectors.
3. Reverse phase protector
Scroll compressors and piston compressors have different structures and cannot be reversed. When the three-phase power supply of the air-cooled chiller is reversed, the compressor will be reversed, so a reverse phase protector needs to be installed to prevent the refrigeration compressor from reversing. After the reverse phase protector is installed, the compressor can operate in the positive phase and will not operate in the reverse phase. When the reverse phase occurs, just swap the two wires of the power supply to change to the positive phase.
4. Exhaust temperature protector
In order to protect the compressor under high load operation or insufficient refrigerant, an exhaust temperature protector needs to be installed in the air-cooled chiller system. The exhaust temperature is set to 130℃ to stop the compressor. This temperature value refers to the compressor exhaust pipe from the outlet.
5. Low-pressure switch
In order to protect the air-cooled chiller compressor from running when the refrigerant is insufficient, a low-pressure switch is required. When it is set above 0.03mpa, the compressor stops running. Once the compressor is running in a state of insufficient refrigerant, the temperature of the compressor part and the motor part will rise instantly. At this time, the low-pressure switch can protect the compressor from damage and motor burnout that the internal thermostat and exhaust temperature protector cannot protect.
6. The high-pressure switch can stop the compressor when the high-pressure pressure rises abnormally, and the operating pressure is set below.
